The
sheep skin in our sheep skin slippers is naturally
water resistant but will absorb water unless sprayed with a waterproof
spray. Always remember that the breathability of our natural
sheep skin slippers will be lost if you spray them with a waterproofing
agent. It is okay to get the sheep skin slippers wet as your
feet will still stay warm. You can spray the sheep skin slippers
with waterproofing like you can any other leather products, just
please be aware that to gain the waterproofing, you sacrifice the
natural breathable quality of the sheep skin slippers.
You
can wear your sheep skin slippers with or without socks.
Please wear wool socks though, like our Milford Merino
Wool Socks. Woolen socks will not effect the breathability
of your sheep skin slippers - just enjoy!
Washing
your sheep skin slippers
To
wash your sheep skin slippers, use a mild soap and a brush
or cloth. Rinse them off and keep the sheep skin slippers inside
away from the heat while drying.
Sheep
skin slippers - sizing
All
sheep skin slippers will feel snug and almost too tight to
start with. Remember our sheep skin slippers are a natural
and breathable leather product that will stretch out over a couple
of days. If you know your shoe size and tell us, there should be
no problem fitting your sheep skin slippers. Please follow
the instructions on the order form, but if not sure just tell us
what size you are in the commments section. Our sheep skin slippers
only come in whole number sizes not half sizes, so if you are a
half size (say 8 1/2) then go for the nine.
Our
sheep skin slippers have removable and replaceable insoles
that are custom made for each sheep skin slippers size. Easy
and inexpensive replacements will extend the life of your sheep
skin slippers. You can take the inner sole out and wash it without
having to wash the entire sheep skin slipper. You can replace
the inner sole when they wear out, making your slippers last longer.
